Since 1928 the Collierville FFA has been educating young high school men and women about the importance of agriculture and how to become a strong leader. The Collierville FFA attends 10-15 regional events such as livestock judging, land judging, and public speaking. Students are also given a leadership role such as President, Vice President, Reporter, Treasurer, Sentinel, Historian, or Chaplain. Students also attend the State FFA Convention in Gatlinburg, Tennessee and National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, Indiana. In order for students to attend these events we need financial support for fuel, substitute teachers, hotel rooms, and registration fees.
SPONSORSHIP
In order to support our CHS FFA to participate in all of these wonderful opportunities, we seek sponsorships from local businesses. Sponsors have several different sponsor levels to choose from. As leaders in our community, their support is truly needed – and appreciated – to make our CHS FFA a success. We believe that funding agriculture education and FFA is funding future community leaders of tomorrow.
A sponsorship form link is provided below. This form can be used to request donations from local businesses. Request that the business fill out the sponsorship form and either give it to you to return to Mr. Sawyers or they may mail it to the address below. FUNDRAISING
Throughout the school year, the CHS FFA Alumni Booster Club will hold fundraisers to help support the many activities the CHS FFA students participate in throughout the year. The schedule of fundraising events is listed below. If there are forms associated with the fundraiser, they will be listed on this page and can be shared with family and friends.
